That's when you find out how much talent the artists have. You can't hide behind electronics and studio effects. Some of my favourite recordings are acoustic ones.

ive heard a recording.
and it sounded different because there wasnt all the effects and stuff,
but it was a good different,and you could hear them more as artists.

uhuh.. and i think that when they go acoustic, it's like they bare themselves to the world.. it's real nice, some even very soulful..

even more technically, it is considered a chordophone.
