What acoustic covers would you like to hear in a Coffee Shop?
November 4th, 2009 | by admin |I play general and classical acoustic instruments for my solo trips around the midwest. I play things from The Beatles to John Mayer to even Bon Iver. My range of vocals confines me to an alto but i am a very experimental performer. I’ve played at caribou’s and Starbucks in several states. Your input is greatly appreciated!
Thank You friends
Colin Hay – Overkill
Brett Dennen – Ain’t No Reason
Slipknot – Vermillion Pt.II (Drop B)
Gallows – The Vulture Act.I. (Drop D)
Mazzy Star – Into Dust
Jhonny Cash – Hurt (I know you’re an alto and this JC is a bass-baritone, but its a great song)
Lazlo Bane – I’m No Superman (Open G)
Pink Ployd – Wish You Were Here
Secondhand Seranade – Your Call (One Step Down)
I know slipknot and gallows are metal, but these two songs are acoustics

Hmmm, well I’m a sucker for anything acoustic- but Dashboard Confessional and some more John Mayer are always hits.
