That's when you find out how much talent the artists have. You can't hide behind electronics and studio effects. Some of my favourite recordings are acoustic ones.

ive heard a recording.
and it sounded different because there wasnt all the effects and stuff,
but it was a good different,and you could hear them more as artists.

It usually depends on the song. A lot of bands will also have the accoustic verison of a song, but I usually enjoy the rock better.
